Frozen Shoulder

I’ve just had a great hour of CPD, (continual professional development), from the comfort of my own home thanks to The Academy of Physical Medicine.

I feel far better informed to treat and manage patients with adhesive capsulitis (AKA Frozen Shoulder).

I better understand how to treat the condition with osteopathic techniques I already use on a day to day basis, but more importantly, I feel confident when is the right time, if at all, to refer for surgery, and what surgery is most advisable.

An insight into manipulation under anaesthesia and why it is discouraged due to the amount of potential damage it can cause with very little improvement to the condition, yet the technique is still widely practised in the NHS.

Marvellous.

Thank you to the Academy of Physical Medicine. Manual therapists – sign up now!!!!
