Gill Fullen Race CV

I have been taking part in triathlon since 2008 and enjoy competing at everything from running local 5k road races, taking part in cycle time trials, to completing Ironman distance triathlons.

In 2011 I qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships and attended the Long Distance Triathlon World Championships in Las Vegas, gaining a silver medal in my age group.

In spring 2012 I competed in my first duathlons and qualified for the World Championships in France, gaining an age group National title at the Dambuster duathlon and coming in 2nd lady overall at Cambridge. At Nancy I came is as first lady in my age category, so a gold medal and world championship title. I was also 4th overall of the age groupers and first British lady home.

July 2012 saw me racing in Bolton, UK on an amazingly hot day on the very hilly and testing Ironman UK course. Here I managed to finish first lady in my age group, gaining the single qualifying spot for the world championships in Hawaii, which I completed in October.

In 2014 I won my age group at Majorca 70.3, followed that with an age group gold at Belfort Long Distance Triathlon World Championships. I went on to win overall age-group lady at Ottawa, Canada, in the standard distance duathlon and finished my season with a gold at Powerman Zofingen. Good year!
