“I’m Tilly, I’m an Osteopath and I like to fix people!”

_DM34962-EditHorses – I have been lucky enough to own and ride horses all of my life, in fact it is thanks to my horse, Dougal, his injuries and my own, that I trained to become an osteopath.

I love helping people recover from injuries allowing them to continue doing what they love the most, (in my case – riding)

Golf – Having grown up amongst the family business at Colmworth Golf Club, I have taken an active interest in the number of injuries golf seems to cause. This lead me to produce a paper on golfing injuries with studies into preventing and treating such injuries.

Rowing – A number of my patients are keen rowers and I have recently used this as an excuse to learn to row. I now fully understand the biomechanics of the skill and the impact this has on the body which helps me to treat and rehab rowing injuries more efficiently.

Running – Although I am the first to admit that I am not a keen runner, I understand how much my patients love it, injured or not! It is my priority to get injured athletes back to full health ASAP and the uninjured performing at their best – preventing injury where possible.

I often refer to podiatrist Colin Papworth to help diagnose gait problems with a number of athletes. This helps me to target specific joint and muscular problems, increasing the efficiency of their stride, speeding them up and reducing the chance of injury!
